| La lima rotativa è in sostanza un tipo particolare di fresa. L'utensile della foto è una lima rotativa in Metallo Duro a testa sferica. Bisogna notare che i taglienti arrivano fino al centro ed in questo modo sono operativi anche se l'utensile è posizionato con asse perpendicolare alla superficie da lavorare. Anche le lime rotative sono molto spesso ricoperte con TiN o con altri composti. | Rotary burr is, basically, a special type of milling cutter. The picture shows a carbide ball shape rotary burr.
